Jeff Kass:

Jeff is the founder and director of VOLUME Youth Poetry Project, Ann Arbor Wordworks, Poetry Night in Ann Arbor, NO COMMENT magazine, NO COMMENT press and the Ann Arbor Youth Poetry Slam.  He is co-founder and Poetry Director of Stage Write Productions Theater Company, as well as the 1999 and 2000 Ann Arbor Grand Slam Poetry Champion.  Jeff was the 2004 Ann Arbor Book Festival Inaugural Poetry Slam Champion as well as the keynote luncheon speaker at the 2001 and 2004 annual conventions for The National Council of Teachers of English.  He is also two-time host of the National Youth Poetry Slam and coach of two national championship teams.  Jeff has numerous poems in literary magazines and anthologies and has taught workshops to thousands of students in dozens of schools all over Michigan.
